Terex acquires Fantuzzi
As you may be aware Terex acquired Fantuzzi in totality (including Fantuzzi Noell UK) during 2009. We thought it may be useful to answer some of the more frequently asked questions of the acquisition:
Who are Terex?
Terex Corporation is a diversified global manufacturer operating in four business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Construction, Terex Cranes and Terex Materials Processing. Terex manufactures a broad range of equipment for use in various industries, including the construction, infrastructure, quarrying, surface mining, shipping, transportation, energy, refining and utility industries. Terex offers a complete line of financial products and services to assist in the acquisition of Terex equipment through Terex Financial Services.
What will happen to the Fantuzzi /Reggiane / Noell name?
All equipment previously branded Fantuzzi / Reggiane & Noell will now be manufactured under the Terex name in the familiar Terex Corporate colours (white). The models will start with Fantuzzi i.e. the manufacturer and brand name is Terex; the name Fantuzzi will become part of the model, e.g. Fantuzzi CS45KS or Side loader Model Fantuzzi SF50U.
How has the acquisition impacted Fantuzzi Noell UK? And what does it mean for customers and potential customers?
The main focus of FNUK was and remains to support customers both in terms of parts support and product support. The strength of Terex has transformed the speed of response of information and parts supply. We have always prided ourselves on doing our utmost to support our customers but now we are able to do a whole lot more.
